Psychotherapy Society of Hong Kong (PSHK) collects and holds member contact information, including name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address, which members provide when joining the Society.
This information is held for the duration of the individual’s membership with the Society which depends upon the annual renewal of membership and payment of membership fees. If a member chooses not to renew their membership, or fails to pay membership fees, all information relating to that individual is deleted from PSHK records.
The Member Directory is a public document on the PSHK website. As such, each member must consent to have his or her details included in the Directory. The information provided is available for the duration of the membership. Members may request that their individual information be modified and/or removed at any time.
The PSHK does not share any information about its members with any other organisation or mailing list, beyond what is available in the Member Directory, without the consent of its members. The PSHK occasionally uses its mailing list to announce the events of other organisations.
All mass email communications to members is via Mailchimp and, as such, the names of the email recipients are not visible to all. Members can opt out of receiving mass emails by using the ‘Unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of the emails.
